York County’s Haines Shoe House featured on TV again

The Haines Shoe House in Hellam Township has been a source of fascination for visitors from near and far. It was built in 1948 by Mahlon N. Haines to advertise his shoe business. The house has been featured on CBS’s “The Amazing Race,” MTV’s “Extreme Cribs” and HGTV. Now, it will be features on SPACEStv’s “Offbeat Spaces,” which debuted its second season this week. Owner Carleen Farabaugh walks viewers through the house, which is 1500 square feet and has 5 floors. Get a preview above.
